Starting in May 2015, Modern Media began working with Eastlink to establish core elements of a relaunched email marketing program on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (formerly ExactTarget).  First, Modern Media designed and developed a net new mobile responsive template that would support their Weekly e-Newsletter requirement targeting residential customer, one that allowed Eastlink staff to self-manage the email deployment process.  Then Modern Media designed and developed a dynamic Welcome Email working in partnership with the firms CRM / IT Partner.  The welcome email also developed on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform auto populates personalize dynamic content for each new customer, with sends triggers by the front line systems. 

  • Completed email UX designs in wireframe format for desktop and mobile devices
  • Integrated corporate / divisional branding and core promotional message streams
  • Developed emails as templates, so Eastlink marketing staff could build and send emails without programming dependencies
  • Programmed a matrix of dynamic content field pulled from source data stored in the companies CRM software
  • QA and email client testing (desktop & mobile) to ensure widespread compatibility

Working alongside the brand's Agency of Record, Modern Media developed, tested and deployed a dynamic, multilingual, mobile responsive website for Royale.


After moving ALC's email program to Salesforce Marketing Cloud, our first order of business was to improve the email experience by designing, developing and launching a series of mobile responsive email templates.

Discover Saint John

Working in collaboration with the ad agency and media planner, Modern Media helped Destination Saint John drive interest and conversion by planning, producing, managing and measuring their Pay Per Click digital campaigns.


We took CTV's most popular online contest, Winning Wheels, and updated the entry site so users on mobile devices could enter their daily keyword on the go.

Touch of Gold/The Vault

We redesigned and modernized websites for longtime clients Touch of Gold and The Vault. We supported the brands with a social strategy, email templates, contesting and sleek new social assets.


Eastlink engaged Modern Media's email marketing experts to design, develop, test and integrate custom mobile responsive email marketing templates built on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
