Meghan Kucey - Account Coordinator

Meghan adds some sparkle to the office – usually with her shoes. She has a massive shoe collection. Beyond the sparkle, she’s responsible for the majority of Modern Media’s marketing and social media. She also assists the accounts team on multiple projects. Prior to joining Modern Media, Meghan tried out graphic design and photography. Having always loved advertising, she thought she’d try the creative side. She realized it wasn’t her thing, so she returned to NSCC to study public relations. She has worked in public relations for the Halifax Rainmen basketball team and at Emera Inc. in corporate communications.

Can’t get through a day without: Coffee and peanut butter - but not together, that’s gross. Oh, and sarcasm. I loves me some sarcasm.

Favourite action hero: True Blood’s Eric Northman – yes, vampires count.
One person you’d like to spend a day with: Will Ferrell – he’s a comedic genius. I’d request that slip into character throughout the day - highlights would include Ricky Bobby, Ron Burgundy, Buddy the Elf and, of course, Craig, the Spartan cheerleader from SNL.
Favourite place in the world: A beach somewhere hot with plenty of wine. I also love my bed. Maybe my bed on a beach with wine!?
Favourite sandwich: Montreal bagels with cream cheese, it’s not a sandwich but close enough.
Favourite dance move: Alcohol fuelled, with a plethora of flailing limbs.
